Under the responsibility of the Vice President of Sales, the Sales Representative must promote and sell the company’s products and/or services to a targeted intermediate market of innovative, technological, and evolving products in the point-of-sale (POS) industry.

Main responsibilities :
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with the various corporate decision-making levels and business managers.
  • Oversee all ongoing activities with clients (projects, change requests, support activities, etc.).
  • Be aware of the business unit’s project deliverables and promptly respond to the client when changes are required.
  • Keep close contact with the client to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Inform the client regularly about new developments (Road map).
  • Suggest products and services meeting clients’ needs.
  • Develop and get the proposals approved with the participation of the business unit, concerned services and the client for ROI.
  • Develop upselling strategies with our existing clients in collaboration with the business unit to ensure a successful delivery.
  • Offer a wider range of professional services.
  • Participate in a monthly review of activities with his/her superior.
  • Solicit new clients and banners from the portfolio.
  • Ensure continued growth increase by soliciting new clients.
  • Be creative in developing new markets.
  • Assist sales events: trade shows, presentations, charity events, etc.
  • Provide monthly sales results and projections.
  • Prepare and maintain an annual business plan per banner.
  • Ensure the template is up to date to allow the creation of quotes for the internal sales team.
  • Escalate, if necessary, emergencies to the SIR Solutions executive.
  • Follow the company’s business rules and ensure best practices among clients.
  • Ensure the verification process (checklist) for new installations.
  • Organize internal kick-offs.
  • Solicit new banners in accordance with SIR Solutions’ criteria.
Requirements : 
  • Diploma of college studies (DEC) or a BAC in marketing or sales.
  • Five (5) years minimum experience in a similar position is required.
  • Experience in solution selling and in the retail industry is an asset.
  • Expertise in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Intermediate knowledge of a CRM is an asset.
  • Understand the client’s needs and fulfill them with our products and services.
